The tools on Filix are provided free, for general use, without any warranty of any kind. While we test each tool carefully, no automated conversion is perfect for every possible file.
Always keep your original
Compression, rasterising and format conversion can change how a document looks, and can lose selectable text or embedded metadata. Never treat a file produced by Filix as your only copy. Check the output before you delete, submit or file anything.
Not legal, financial or professional advice
Nothing on this site, including any article or guide, is legal, tax, financial or professional advice. Documents you produce with these tools may still need review by a qualified professional before they are filed or relied upon.
Signatures
The PDF Signer places an image of a signature onto a page. That is a visual signature. It is not a digital signature certificate (DSC) and it does not carry the legal weight of a cryptographically signed document under the Information Technology Act. Where a statutory filing requires a DSC, use a DSC.
Password removal
The Unlock PDF tool is intended only for documents you are authorised to open and for which you already hold the password. You are responsible for ensuring you have that authority.
Third-party libraries and services
Filix uses well-known open-source libraries in your browser and a third-party IP geolocation service on the server. We do not control those projects and are not responsible for their behaviour or availability.
