PDF → Editable text

Pull the words out of any PDF —
including scanned ones.

Upload a PDF and get clean, editable text back. Digital PDFs are read straight from their text layer; scanned pages and photographed documents go through OCR. Save the result as a plain Notepad file or as a Word document where every PDF page starts on its own page.

Page-by-page output

Each PDF page is kept separate, so you can check, fix or delete a page before downloading.

Scanned pages handled

Built-in OCR reads photos and scans in English, Hindi and eight more Indian languages.

Notepad or Word

Download a .txt file, or a Word .docx in which every PDF page begins on a fresh page.

Nothing is uploaded

The whole conversion runs inside this browser tab. Your documents never reach a server.

Getting the best OCR results
  • Scans at 300 DPI and above read far more accurately than phone photos.
  • Straight, well-lit pages matter more than file size — fix rotation in the source PDF first.
  • Pick the exact language. “English” on a Hindi page produces gibberish, not a translation.
  • A 40-page scanned file takes a few minutes. Digital PDFs finish in seconds.
  • OCR reads words, not layout. Tables come out as lines of text, not as a grid.
